Welcome From Carii Bee

Welcome to the Reiki Experience with Carii Bee.  I started my Reiki journey ten years ago with a single class.  I thought that would be the end of it, just one class, but that's not how it turned out.

I saw a small ad in a newspaper assuring me that Reiki would help me balance, relieve stress and heal my body.  I thought to myself, this is exactly what I need, as I had just moved to Pennsylvania from California and was in the process of building a new home.....talk about stress!  So I signed up for the class not knowing anything about Reiki and three hours later, was hooked for the rest of my life. I couldn't wait to start the next class, Reiki II, which was scheduled for the following month....and after that class, I STILL wanted more.

My teacher tried to slow me down.  Her students usually took Reiki I or II and disappeared for 5 years. Not me.  I wanted Reiki and I wanted it all. I needed to know why it worked, how it worked and learn all the symbols, to increase my Reiki healing ability.

Again, my teacher tried to slow me down.  She said "let Reiki do the work in your life."  I wasn't sure what this meant.  As the years went by, I realized her concern was that Reiki has a tendency to move things in and out of your life for the better.  Sometimes this is situations, sometimes people.

I took no heed and pushed my teacher to her limits.  I was her first student that completed all classes in 2-1/2 years, no stops or pauses....and I was her only student that cried like a baby during each attunement.  My teacher made sure to have a box of tissues ready for me.  I explained after each class that the Reiki experience brought me to happy tears, thus the future name of my business.

After completion of my Reiki Mastership, my teacher told me I could now teach Reiki.  I hadn't learned Reiki for that reason.  My desire for more knowledge of Reiki had been unquenchable.  With the last class, I felt I knew it all, of the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition.  Of course there were other types of Reiki, Karuna Reiki for one, but I had no desire for more modern forms.

I could teach, but I didn't want to and I didn't think I would.

Fast forward ten years and I not only give treatments and consultations, but I am a passionate and caring teacher as well.  Reiki has taken me from a shy woman, to a self confident healer and teacher.....and it continues to "do the work in my life" as my teacher once told me it would.

Share with me here, on this blog, up to the moment information on Reiki and other life enhancing healing modalities.

I hope you become as passionate about Reiki as I am.

Honey blessings,
